Audigy 2 Eax speaker issue

Hiya,

Each time i switch on the mic effects (chipmunk ect) everything that plays thru the speakers comes out like a chipmunk, the mp3s ect.. I need to just have the mic eax effects output playing only from the mic and everything else to be left alone. It seems when i select the effects from within the eax console everything thats playing uses that eax, which i know is ok for the environment effects ect but im sure the mic effects can be set to use only the mic channel and not output everything through its effect.

Are there any other voice effects for eax that i can download or get hold of?

For each effect hit edit...hit the source tab....go to the drop down box under "select source" and choose wave (or whatever the source for the music is)....put "original sound" @ 100%.....and put "pitch shifter" @ 0%. Exit and save change to profile.
