Best driver for Audigy!

very interesting, I tried You-P mod Audigy4 CD for my old Audigy Card at first, then updated with new 1161 beta driver. but after comparing the quality for music and game, I find the Audigy4 CD is much better and clear than 1161 or other latest driver.

By the way, if you only enjoy music not game, Kx driver should be your first selection, much much better than any creative driver.

Hi

Since I have not seen any reliable testimony for these modded drivers yet, hey, let's make a test so you can prove those modded Audigy 4 drivers are better than .1161 or any older ones and that Kx drivers would be the best
(My assumption is, what clear difference you are able to hear can be measured as well --> since soundcard drivers are not made for changing the sound but work as a 'bridge' between software/OS and device, there should not be any differences on sound).
I also suppose these mods are made using mostly EQ (maybe some effects too).

Just download the RMAA 5.5 testing software and make those measurements @

16-bit : 44.1, 48 and 96 kHz
24-bit : 44.1, 48 and 96 kHz

There are setting instructions for Audigy cards available too.

Bring your results (links to your results)) here (generate those result pages using RMAA's feature), so we can examine them.
