Prodigy 7.1lt a worthless gaming card?

Am not sure but is it a worthless gaming card? I mean i feel that my crashing on FEAR n Serious Sam 2 demos at max details must be due to it. I had to increase my PCI latency in bios to 192 to get rid of the popping sounds in my avis n some mp3s. And the fact the bums have never released a driver for ages makes wanna use Chaintech AV710 since i think it may have a better driver support or performance.

Basically everything not Audigy is crap for gaming. The sounds aren't right and there's no proper reverb.
