ASUS & Audigy

I am having a driver problem i believe. I've already
disabled the on-board sound in the BIOS. But after i
install the latest drivers of my Audigy, it won't work
because the "Multimedia Audio Controller" says its having a
driver problem.

try updating the driver manually ofter.. it'll be in the drivers list.. update it with that and it should work fine

1. Have you installed the latest drivers for your chipset?

2. There might be an IRQ conflict so check for that.

3. I hope this is an Audigy 2 your using. The Asus Deluxe onboard sound is superior to Audigy 1 for quality. However, I'm not sure about EAX support.

I give up on my Audigy1 so i go to onboard sound

Hey I was looking for a new bios for my board and I found this.

Thus, this will cause I/O confilct. If users want to put Audigy2 on A7N8X and use gameport's function, please disable the gameport on Audigy2 and use the onboard gameport.
