Sound/Speaker Help...
I have a old HP Polk Audio Speakers(about 5yrs old) and a Realtek AC97 Audio PCI soundcard. I can barely hear anything on max volume so I use my headset most of the time.
Should I get new speakers?,soundcard?, or both? My specs(if it matters): Asus A8V-E Deluxe 1 gig ram Nvidia 6600GT AMD Athlon 64 3000+ My budget is about 80$. Thanks for any help. |

So your telling me not to get a soundcard, then can I hook up my stereo to my pc?
460watts JVC, there are Black and Blue wire (mainspeaker) and Black and Red wire (Subwoofer) on both speakers. They're bare wires. Can I get a adapter somewhere to hook it up to my pc? |

yes you could. You can get RCA to headphone jack convertors usually at most electronic stores.
