HELP - Audigy (modded to Audigy 2) microphone problem

Hello everyone,

I am currently using a Audigy card, modded to audigy 2 using NewYear pack.

I recenly bought headphones and mic for bf2. The problem i am having is i am getting barely any sound out of the mic. I have checked all the sound settings, i increased mic volume to full everywhere (in advanced, etc, etc)

When i try using the sound recorder, i only hear myself if i shout... how do i fix this? is this a driver problem? or am i messing up some settings somewhere?

pls pls, do help thank you all

make sure your mic is plugged into the mic jack(pink), not the line in jack(blue)

purush will become famous soon enough

Low sound in microphone

Have you turned on the volume control from your head set ? because I have one attached to the cable with a volume control lever. Just a thought and also see if it is muted in the system volume control. Good Luck

One more thing I forgot. My head set has two out puts 1.orange 2. Pink. The orange one is for the sound and the pink for mic. Both should be plugged in

Check that the mic boost is enabled. Also make sure that in Recording properties that it is set to Microphone and not "What you hear".
