Microphone problem

Hey guys, I updated my BIOS, I'm using NvMixer, I have it on microphone boost and microphone 2 and have tried everything I could think of but it still doesn't pick up any sound when I try to test the hardware.

They are pretty nice Altec Lansing headphones and they were working before with my old build though it took some work to get them working. I have tried everything I did there and then some if someone has advice or a link to something I can DL that may help, it would be much appriciated.
