Audigy2 Value Newbi User Needs help
Hi I'm using a Audigy 2 Value and I am whishing to softmod my card to hopefully overcome some sound issues (varying popping sounds which occur during GTA SA, but also during the occasional video playing), I have tried to use the Audigy4 softmod but during the install of the upax 1.02 driver it said that the A2 Value was not supported and the sound controls wouldnt work once installed althought I believed I followed instructions correctly. So is the A2 Value truly unmoddable to A4, if so can I mod it to a A2 ZS or is the Value card unable to be properly modded.
Can anyone shed some light.

Use this driver:http://www.hardwareheaven.com/audio-general-technical-discussion/84690-1162-beta-drivers-all-audigy-2-4-available.html
And install software which u'll find in this file: "PAX-NewYear2005.7z" (it modds ur card to an A2 ZS). If you want to install Audigy 4 software, install original drivers from Creative CD (or any newer/better which work in set with A4 software) and then install A4 software without Audigy 4 drivers (uncheck proper option in the setup program). |
