Audigy LS and Ages of Empires 3

I have an Audigy LS PCI sound card and its causing lock up issues with AOE 3. Now I've looked into beta drivers for this card but wherever I look it states, "do not use these drivers with the Audigy LS".
My question is; Are there any modded drivers out there for the LS. I figured maybe a modded driver might help fix this issue.

Thanks for your advice/replies.

System Specs

the LS is not a true audigy, therefore modded drivers are unlikely to work

System Specs

Check the debice ID of your card in Device Manager and if it matches any of these,

%Audigy2LS.DeviceDesc%=Audigy2LS_Device,PCI\VEN_11 02&DEV_0008&SUBSYS_10001102
%Audigy2LS.DeviceDesc%=Audigy2LS_Device,PCI\VEN_11 02&DEV_0008&SUBSYS_10011102
%Audigy2LS.DeviceDesc%=Audigy2LS_Device,PCI\VEN_11 02&DEV_0008&SUBSYS_10211102
%Audigy2LS.DeviceDesc%=Audigy2LS_Device,PCI\VEN_11 02&DEV_0008&SUBSYS_10221102

then you should be able to install the latest Audigy 1/2/2ZS beta drivers. Those ID's are shown in the beta INF file.
