the live 24bit does not have the 10k1 chip, therefore i doubt the a2 drivers will work

supposably they do. If not, its not a big deal to uninstall them, but it works for a lot of people and id like to have the "hardware mixing" option in openal games. PLEASE someone help me find this number out!

i wouldn't be so sure they do - they will support true live cards (10k1) as the 10k2 of the audigy card is a simple upgrde, but the chip on the live 24bit is completely different (software based card iirc)
