Yes, it is very nice. I couldn't believe I paid 99 dollars for the stupid Audigy (which I don't even use anymore!!) after I got it.

The TBSC costs around 80 dollars. I was deciding between the TBSC and the Hercules Fortissmo III 7.1 and I chose the Hercules because of the price and the better gaming capabilities. I have yet to install it as I'm on vacation, but apparently based on 3dsoundsurge forums and reviews, this card isn't that bad and the TBSC's quality over this card doesn't justify the 30 dollar difference. If you can get it at a good price, then by all means get it, but I will stick to my hercules card. I will tell more once I get the thing installed tomorrow

i've been looking at some tbs, but have yet to decide what i would like to upgrade to.

TBSC
"Turtle Beach Santa Cruz", it's a soundcard with a bit of a cult-like following.

yay!
I have the Hercules Fortissmo III 7.1 card installed. I love it so far and it sounds far superior over my old sb live (not much of a challenge) The loudness of the card was also noticeable, and the driver/control panel is beautiful and full of features. Everything is great about the card, and make sure you use the forced drivers located in the news part of this forum. If you don't then you could face a few mins of uninstalling and reinstalling. Just extra information...my front speakers are the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 and my rear speakers are the Altec Lansing ACS54. So far everything is going great and I highly recommend this card.

Well, I would prefer digifire 7.1, and so far only soundcard I am looking foward to is TerraTec Aureon 7.1 Space (alternative is M-Audio Revolution 7.1, they are both based on Envy24HT. Only thing it lacks are MIDI features.

The Digifire is basically the same as the Fortissmo with firewire ports. The Digifire also costs around 80, which is the same price as the TBSC, which would be the better choice (price vs quality wise)
