HELP! seriously problem with my audigy! no features.......

Hello.
All of a sudden when i restarted, a little box from audigy control panel( or the slide down on top middle of screen) said my sound card is not properly installed. Please reinstall it. So i put in my installation CD and said "blah blah blah cannot detect a sound blaster card in your system. Please reinstall the card"
So i took the soundcard out and put into a new PCI slot but still the same thing. So i unistalled everything but there was no change except no more boxes,etc.
But when i went into my music, it started playing :S.
I went into control panel -> sound and audio devices and it seemed to changed from "Audigy sound blaster" to "Emu10Kx Audio (C800)" It still had the auidgy icon next to it btw.
So how can i fix this to get my features back like EAX panel and surround mixer and all them lot. When i play a game which can support EAX, it seems i cannot enable it anymore.
(The sound and volume are fine, BASS and TREBLE control are still there.)
Please can someone help me with this.
Im no good anymore at games without my EAX
