exclamation so can anyone help me wiht my fatality sound card

Im having trouble with my fatality i brought it up before but didn't get much help, probelm = when ever i boot my pc the sound is screchy, cracky, skips and who noes what else, but once i press start,restart it fixes i mean it becomes basicaly perfect!! i've tried reinstallign windows, tried putting a different graphic card, tried different psu, diffrent keyboard and mouse , u name it i tried it. I installed it on 2 other pc's and it works perfect with out restarting and even better not cracks or nothign but on my all messed up on first boot??? confusing i noe im very confused bro, so i called soundblaster they were no help, i called asus they were no help so can someone please help its not the card, the only think i can think the problem is the mobo so please leave ur opinions i need it thanx...Really apreciated!!!

Not a solution i'm afraid, just to let u know that i'm having exactly the same problem with the same M/B soundcard combination.

I's a well known problem!

The solutions are basically these (to try in order):
- try to upgrade motherboard bios
- try to disable Promise raid controller
- send the x-fi to Creative labs... they will flash a new firmware version that should work better with nforce4 mobo...

i just went out and got a new m/b and it works now so at well
