Well I've recently built this system in my specs... am very happy except I don't have a clue about the bios shiz... and I get a blue screen when closing the dvd-audio player from creative...
with the new card comes this chooser thingy allowing you to set different modes ala gaming, entertainment, recording.... am curious if this might be where the problem comes from... suggestions anyone???

blame dodgy CL software

as for the mode switcher, that just changes the resource allocations to the different segments of the chip - shouldn't affect any software

lol yea already did that DJ_Stick as far as blaming the dody software that is... rofl but thanks for the heads up.... am gonna have to get a new amp and 2 more speakers... to get into 7.1 tho' muhahaha next up....

The real problem is that the voice chat get's very choppy in UT for some reason??? it's happened with another person I know who has the platinum version... have to stick with the 3d audio ingame setting rather than eax stuff for voice chat anyways....

try changing the card's mode out of game and onto a "generic" setting if there is one
