Output sound from SB to a TV set

It might be a silly question for some people, but to me is the first time I'm going to try. So, I've an GeForce 2 with Tv out and a SB Audigy 5 player. I want to know, if somebody can help, if I have to unplug the speakers cable and to pug it in the TV in sound conector to get the sound of the films, ex., I run in the PC? Is that correct or I have to plug the cable in other sound card conector?
