Audigy2 J1 pins and standalone box with input sockets
Hi!
I've got throught the huge topic of pinouts for A2 and also read http://www.devhardware.com/forums/mu...s-15584-8.html and i'm a bit confused... I'd like to make myself a small box which would stand on my desk to which i could connect my mic and headphones. I know that all front-panel-pins' solutions are unworkable as it's digital connection, so i have to use J1 (10 pins at the top) J1 worked for some, for some didn't that's not the point. I'd like to know if i need some other stuff except for 2 connectors and a pack of wire, sth like resistors? In the J1 i have L/R GRN for my headphones which is pretty clear for me, i buy the socket, wire it... but what about the mic? it has some V on it... are there special mic's sockets? or sth? And if standard plugs from MB would stand for J1? By 'standard' i mean those flat, 1 row which are used to connect i.e. HDD LEDs or sth... |
