I installed the Audigy4 PRO ISO then the YouP PAX Fi v2.31 Drivers on my Audigy 2 Platinum. I noticed 2 Windows File Protection information warnings that the file a3d.dll version 2.9.0.0 was trying to be replaced with the file version a3d.dll version 80.0.0.3 so I was wondering which version of that file I should have after the modded drivers are installed ?
If anyone using these drivers would check which version they have in C:\Windows\System32 I would really appreciate it. Mine stayed at version 2.9.0.0

Thank you km52, I have tried to replace it with version 80.0.0.3 but XP Pro with SP2 won't allow me to due to file protection. I think that the 80.0.0.3 might be the proper one for these drivers but the file protection is stopping it from installing.

Thanks to you as well carnival! That is probably the one I need to somehow install. I ran the installation program again and cancelled the install at the last screen the installation files had extracted to the C:\ drive and that is the only a3d.dll file in the folder. It seems I have to somehow overcome this XP SP2 file protection to change it to the 80.0.0.3 version. Everytime I try it reverts back to what Windows thinks it should be.
That may be the reason the sound quality does not seem as good as the previous YouP drivers !!!

Update: Mission accomplished, used Drivercleaner Pro in safe mode, just the Cab. Cleaner tool. I then deleted the a3d.dll file from the System32 dllcache as well as the a3d.dll file from the System32 folder, emptied the recycle bin and copied the a3d.dll file version 80.0.0.3 to the System32 folder.
So far so good and the sound is better!!
