System Specs

Open the Surround Mixer and under Rec, change it from "What you hear" to microphone.

System Specs

Go to Programs/Accessories/Entertainment, and open the Volume control.

This will open with The PLAYBACK screen showing.

Put a check in the Mute box under MICROPHONE. If you are using the LiveDrive, make sure that you put a check under Line-In/Mic 2 also.

If you don't see either of those, go to the Options, and select Properties, and put checks in Microphone and/or Line-In/Mic2 so that they will show up on the main screen.
