that appears to have 10k2 chip, so standard creative drivers, or modded ones, should work

You sure about that. This little line in the requirements for the beta drivers would suggest otherwise,

Do not install this driver for the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy LS, Sound Blaster Audigy SE or Sound Blaster Audigy Value audio device.
That leads me to believe that the SE is the same as the LS and the live 24 bit, no hardware support (and no EMU10k1/2).

the chip on both the value and se cards is ca106da i, i'm pretty sure that is a revision of the 10k2 chip

I have bought the same audigy SE OEM without no install CD and got the same problem than you to find a driver on the creative site !

Anyways there is a link on the creative forum for the files on the install CD ( the value version)

here :http://forums.creative.com/creativel...&message.id=25677

Download the 2 parts of the rar archive , extract and copy all the files to a CD .

update: i've recently found out that the chip on both the adugiy se and value are the same one as on the audigy LS.

Only the original drivers will work, modded drivers for the 10kX architecture will not

Hi, you can download this file, http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BEQ8TYFL.

It contains, the CD-Driver of Creative Soundblaster Audigy SE (sb0570) for Windows XP.

When download is finished just unpack it, and burn the ISO with Nero or similar with a CD-Rom blank, when it finished you will have the driver of this soundcard in your hands.

P.S. There are two parts, but only with PART1 works fine.

Good luck!

Audigy SE to X-Fi Xtreme Audio (1.04.0079 modded drivers)

Daniel K was the first one that modded the X-Fi Xtreme Audio drivers for Audigy SE. The last X-Fi X-treme modded for Audigy SE are 1.04.0078.

What I did? I modded the 1.04.0079 X-Fi Xtreme Audio drivers for Audigy Value, Audigy SE / Audigy 2 SE, Audigy LS, Live! 24-bit .

More information you can find here: Audigy SE to X-Fi Xtreme Audio - Page 4 - techPowerUp! Forums

What you gain? You will have the same sound on Audigy Se like on X-Fi Xtreme Audio.

Drivers modded for Windows XP 32 bit and 64 bit:

Mirror 4

- Driver for Windows Vista 5.12.1.2007 / Windows XP v5.12.01.621
- APO Interface Module 2.06.00
- Audio Console 2.40.14
- Console Launcher 2.40.09
- Host OpenAL 1.00.14

Drivers modded for Windows Vista 32 bit and 64 bit:

The modded drivers were tested by me on XP 32 bit, XP 64 bit, Vista 32 bit si Vista 64 bit. All worked nice.

L.E.:

As result of the accusations posted here: http://danielkawakami.blogspot.com/2...t-to-x-fi.html I will stop posting modded drivers on this forum. I will still mod drivers but they will be posted only on one Romanian forum. On that page he claims he modded the 1.04.0080 drivers. I was not able to find 1.04.0080 drivers on Creative website and I didn’t tested the modded 1.04.0080 (I can’t see what in that archive so I don’t know if it’s safe to use or not). I can only say this: “Use the modded drivers 1.04.0080 with caution.” If he is the real Daniel k and if those are the real 1.04.0080 drivers that he is having my felicitation. If he just edited the versions of the drivers to make them look like a new version then it’s sad he used this ways. I don’t know if the owner of this page http://danielkawakami.blogspot.com/2...t-to-x-fi.html is the real Daniel K or not.
I don’t understand why he is upset because I was not able to find any 1.04.0079 modded drivers. Why to keep the drivers only for myself when there is no 1.04.0079 modded drivers on internet?
This is all I have to say. As you can see I posted the link to that blog and I don’t have anything with the author of the 1.04.0080 modded drivers.
