Center Speaker Not Working On My 5.1 Speakers

I know i've already got an audio query in my old motherboard post but this has just occured and it's completly new.

I've just updated the nforce 4 drivers on my mobo since i've got the ethernet working and everything seems fine but with these new drivers it has installed something called NVidia NVMixer which seems to have taken control of my sound settings.

My pc onboard sound was Realtek AC97 7.1 Audio now i've installed the update it is now become NVIDIA Nforce Audio. The sound sounds great, much better than before but my center speaker has stopped working.

There is no sound coming out of it and when i do the speaker test all of the speakers have white noise coming out of them (as it should) except the centre speaker which gives out a very high pitched scream (almost like when you turn the sound up too high too close to a microphone and it makes a high pitched noise).

I immedietly thought the speaker had broken but what i did was swap the front right and the centre speakers over and the centre started to work and the front right stopped working so it got to be driver\software related.

What do i do. I would love to keep this NVIDA Nforce Audio as it sound miles better as the Realtek AC97 7.1 Audio did

edit: just checked and also by subwoofer has stopped working with it too. Don't know if this helps but it looks like that the centre\subwoofer are connected to the mic in? But i have in volume control under advanced the option "centre speaker and subwoofer are connected to microphone" ticked but it makes no difference
