X-Fi Extreme card
I am considering the new sound card over my present Audigy. I have tow PCI slots 2 and 3 I would like to know if this card would fit in ? my MB is Ausus P5GD2 deluxe which is about two years old. I have Bose surround speakers( One centre, two side and two rear before my large computer screen which I use for computing and watching DVD movies) Please post your kind suggestions. FYI I have just retire after working for over 40yrs and this is my gift to myself)

The card is slightly larger than the previous models. However, it should fit fine in your system. Just remember to remove all drivers, and use DH's Driver Cleaner to remove scraps that is left behind.

Thanks a lot my friends. I just went and bought this card. I did it only after I got your advise. It fitted just right, and I must it is 'AWESOME' unbelieble sound with my MP3's and when I play DVD Movies it is incredible. The set up was fairly simple. Just pulled my Audigy and placed this baby. I love this card. May be I am impulsive but it is well worth it. Life is short with all the things that are goin on in this complex world. So I might as well enjoy what is left of mine. Great sound. Thank you all for you expert advise. Cheers to this forum
