powerdvd has lost colours

When playing any video file with PowerDVD its black&white

I installed WinDVD - it works fine, but screws up aspect ratio. instead of showing proper 16:9 ar it stretches image vertically. but not to full 4:3.

Anyway I have always used PowerDVD and it has worked just fine. Just now this issue with loosing colours.

Any ideas what might cause this?

make sure your pal/ntsc settings are correct (if applicable)

that could be the problem

sorry, im not familiar with such settings. where they can be adjusted?
