need advice for a free converter

I have a bunch of video files that i copied from vh1 and mtv and their mpeg files, i really want to put them on a cd for just the audio so i can play them in my car. Do you know of a free program that can extract just the audio so i could burn them to cd?

You can try VirtualDubMod, nice freeware. Download from this site:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=65889

Extract the files into a folder then execute the program. Open your desired movie file, go to [Streams] -> [Stream list] -> [Demux]/[Save WAV]. I think you can handle the rest yourself
