Blu-Ray Disc, where this leave us?
I wasn't sure if this was the right form or not. I seen a new movie being offered on Blu-Ray disc aswell. I personally thought that was a year or so away anyway. What exactly do you need to play Blu-Ray. I mean HDMI? so you need a special TV to go with the new type of disc player?..I priced the Burners and they are quite a bit, that I figured. Now the movies are being offered what exactly does one need to play and watch Blu-Rays? thx for any info...

actually, as far as i know, the HDCP isn't fully required just yet, the initial drives have it, but i don't beleive right now you NEED a HDMI/DVI/Digital connection of anysort.
Also if i recall right, if you can pickup a BR-DVD Drive for a computer, you can see it in nearly all it's glory even if you have a crt.

really? I thought the whole thing with Blu Ray is the increased Disk size so the movies are usually in High Def? is that right?..also I waish I could afford a Blu Ray...they are alot of money for just a add-in PC drive...dual layer is like 50 gb..I will be waiting..
