Help Converting to PS3 Video

Hi guys. And a belated Happy Halloween

I've been ripping my hair out trying to convert an mp4 to be able to be played on my PS3. I know the mp4 should be able to play as is, but it comes up on my PS3 as not supported. I've tried to convert it to MPEG 4 and STILL it doesn't work. I tried converting it to Divx and the video worked, but the sound was completely off (it's a movie btw).

Can someone please share with me what I'm missing here? I've tried numerous converters and still no go. I tried a converter that is free and suppose to convert video files specifically for PS3, but it didnt even recognize the video file I want to convert. Current I am trying Pazera and I tried to convert to MPEG 4 and still no go. Please please please share your knowledge because I am beyond the point of frustration lol.

My PS3 has the latest firmware and I am using a thumbdrive to transport.

Have you tried SUPER?
Google SUPER, it should be the first link/result.
The only problem is I don't remember where the fudge is the download link hidden. The guy behind the programs gets A for the program and F for web design.

BTW, if you are going to use it, make sure your read every single step of the installation very carefully. It does try to install a couple of toolbars and programs that are not related. It sucks, I know, but the program is still the best.

Exactly, perhaps the fact that he requires a dedicated help page with screenshots and annotations should be a big enough hint that something should change with the design of the site/page.

Still, great free program.
