DVD Backup & Subtitles

Does anyone know of any software that will correctly backup subtitles on DVD's? For example like Kill Bill Vol. 1 some of it has titles for when they speak Japanese. I would like to be able to do this without having to backup the entire DVD thus more compression.

dvdshrink should let you do it
mabe AutoGordianKnot you'd have to take a look

thouse would be my two first guesses
