problem with certain xvid files

i downloaded a few xvid files, but im having a little problem

most of the files will play fine, but a few files will play mirrored (the right side of the screen is on the left, the left is on the right, black in the middle)

i know its a codec problem because i tried ripping it in tmpegenc, works fine (imagine is right on)

the video using the OGG and Xvid codecs to play (both video). i have both.

any clue why some files are a little fubared while the rest work fine?

lol
i used a program called BigFix
basically it unregisters any and all dll files associated with decoding video and audio
then you can reinstall whatever you need, and make sure it works right

That's cool, I'm having a bit of a small problem with a codec myself. Trying to use media player classic and AC3filter to decode the real time line-in stereo from my cable box to 5.1 separated to output on my Fortissimo III- It works most of the time, but sometimes the option for that filter isn't there- I'll have to try that.
