.001 .002 .003?
Un-rar them-- and not in the same folder, make them go into another folder because they may unpack separately. Don't use winzip or windows unzipping tool - use winrar. If there is one .rar file, un-rar that and it will un-rar all the rest- if there is a .01 or .001 file, un-rar that and it will un-rar the rest also-- If there is a .rar- always use that, if not, start with lowest number file.. It will probably compile it into a bin and cue, burn that to DVDR/CDR or whatever.- Go here http://www.videohelp.com/ and read everything.

It's possible some dumb person compressed the files twice, meaning all those files are in .rar format.
They'll be named .000 or .r01..etc. ..Just use winrar to "unrar" them. If not, it is quite possible they are .vob, in that case you'll need some DVD software. I'll recommend WinDVD 5 Platinum. And another great decoder to use is FFDSHOW, it plays just about every format possible, DivX, Xvid, mpeg2.. etc |

Also get this- http://www.headbands.com/gspot/
Open video files with that and it will tell you exactly what codecs are needed and also if you have them or not, and if not where to get them.. Get ffdshow like mentioned. Also get ac3filter- to get control of dolby pro logoc/ 5.1/ etc.. http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/

Anyway-- if you didn't use Winrar--- delete all those and start over you said you already unZIPPED them right? Delete what you unzipped-- now what do you have? What did you start with? You probably unzipped them wrong the first time. You need to start with the right one..

forget it. Those are part of what you need to get the whole thing unrared correctly- if you have left over files .037 or whatever that are 14mb or so-- you messed up.

to run the unrared files though to make sure they are all there and intact.. But you still didn't tell me what you had when you started.

EDit-- well anyway- if you don't have any left over, you should be good --it looks like you tried it again or something.... because what you were describing before would not have worked. Last edited by BWX; Jun 27, 2004 at 01:32 PM. |

Okay, if you're unsure about burning it, and possibly wasting a disc.
Get daemon tools, install, then mount the image using the .cue file. That way you can check it out to make sure everything is alright. http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/portal/portal.php <---D-Tools |

Only reason I wonder is because usually those files are a little bigger than 590mb, but maybe that's just the size it is. If you found a rar and unzipped it, and it used up all the little files, then you are set with that part...
Right click cue, burn w/ Nero. the if you don't have all the other stuff mentioned, definitely get it because they are all very useful free programs (except that stupid .sfv checker program)

the best bin/cue burner application would be cdrwin from http://www.goldenhawk.com/
use that to make bin cue cd's :P however i dont know about your file structure, kinda messed up with a buncha small files in that format

You have the warez repack of the Harry Potter game...NOT the movie....fair warning
Dev = DEViANCE (distro group) HPPA = Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban and the 14.7MB rar file repack is standard issue on most distro channels(all of it originates on mIRC) what it is is they take the bin/cue files and compress them in parts and the parts are all strung together in relation to one another, so by unzippign on, when that oen finishes it automatically moves to the next file, so long as the filenames are left intact but yes...burn the bin/cue files once you get them unpacked(in nero hit opena nd choose the cue file)...but as i said..that's no video...it's the game if you want the video the it'll all say VCD, SVCD, CAM, or SCR, and have tags such as Svenn, Centropy, Humr, etc hope this helps..... __________________ PS - This is really flirting with the wares rules on the forum......perhaps further questiosn shoudl be kept to PMs and MSN?
