MOVIE Edit Pro 2004 HELP!?!?!

Magix MOVIE Edit Pro 2004 HELP!?!?
Was wondering if anyone else has has any luck with Magix Movie Edit Pro 2004. I've been trying to get it to burn a DVD for weeks, with no luck. Technical support at Magix has proved futile as well. They don't seem to have a clue. And they seem to give up if they can't help you after a couple trys. The problem is:

Product: Movie Edit Pro 2004(Version: 3.0.2.0)
OS: Windows XP Professional V2002
CPU: AMD Athalon XP 1800+
RAM: 256M
DirectX: 9.0b
Graphic: All in Wonder Radeon 7500
Sound: C-media Wave Device?
Video: NEC PCI IEEE 1394 Adapter

I recorded regular "analog" video from my VCR, and tried to burn it onto a
DVD. I can play the burned DVD back on my computer through Real Player,
InterActual Player, or Windows Media, however I am not able to play it on
my home Panasonic DVD RV-32 player. I did try to copy a commercial DVD on
my LG Super Multi RW recorder on DVD R disks with other software, and that worked fine, so
I'm thinking I must have something set wrong when I try to burn a DVD
using Movie Edit Pro 2004. When I try to play it own my DVD player, its
like it keeps trying to read and nothing comes up on the TV. Magix has said that their drivers are written as the default drivers, but can be overwritten by other software drivers as the default so then Magix will use the wrong driver. I tried downloading their supposed patches, and tried reinstalling Magix, but nothing has worked. Grrrr!!!

Anyone else have any ideas???

Thanks

just use NERO to burn DVD's probably must easier. you may need ASPI drivers or updated DVD burner firmware or www.windowsupdate.com updates. possibly even a motherboard bios update.

System Specs

Look for a setting as to what the format is to be burned as ....some format's are just for viewing on the computer. You may be better off using another program such as Ulead DVD Disc Creator, or Pinnacle, another good one is TMPGDVDAuthor.
