Special operating system for Adobe programs?
Is there any special operating system that adobe programs (premier, photoshop) run under?

adobe is actually starting to discontinue it's mac products if I'm nto msitaken....and yes...that WAS the case...but now adays, windows even does that better

intel is better for rendering, yes
AMD chips are more pushed towards gaming |

If I understand correctly, OpenGL performance may also be important - eg. SoftQuadro / SoftFireGL

not so much for Photoshop and premiere, no...but for things like autoCAD, SoftImage, 3DSMax, etc...very much so
