I want to transfer divx moives to dvd?

What step do I need to take to do this I would like to play them on my dvd player on my tv? What software would I need I have nero 6.

http://www.vso-software.fr/download.htm - VSO DivXtoDVD - probably the easiest solution to convert any Directshow renderable video (not just Divx) to a burn-ready VIDEO_TS folder.

Nero, possibly usin Nero Vision Express, may be able to do it, but if your not interested in finesse, the VSO freebie (get it while it's hot, this is 0.3 now, after going through 0.1.3 and 0.2.0 - it's not going to be free when it's final and pretty) is a one step, light the blue touch paper re-encoder.

nero vision express does an excellent job, as does TMPGEnc, but yes...neither of them are free

I always had sound syncing problems with nero vision express and DIVX/XVID to DVD/VOB conversions. I had to do it the long way via about 4 or 5 apps to get good results.

it SHOULD, although some DVD players don't like some DVD media(mine for instance, won't play DVD+R)

Ok to use the vso I dont have to 2 dvd drives so how do I use this vso do I open it up then use it to burn to the harddrive first then when thats done I use it again to burn it to a dvd? Is that how you do it?

have you tried version 2?

it works MUCH better(with the latest patch)

DVD Santa is the best I have used for something like this but its not free

it's part of the nero package...there's the link to the patches...they just released version 3...but I'm yet to play with it

VSO DivXtoDVD (assuming you don't have their burn program to burn directly)..

AVI, WMV (and try anything else) IN

VIDEO_TS in the specified directory OUT

As I understand it, you burn that as the VIDEO_TS folder on a DVD, and it should be playable - may need to add a dummy AUDIO_TS folder as well
