Problems with Acid Pro & Audigy 2zs
Hello everyone. This is my first post.
I've recently bought an Audidy 2zs Sound Card. Since installing the card & all relevant drivers, my copy of Acid Pro 3 has become so glitchy that it is totally unusable. Has anyone got any idea how to fix this problem? I'm running on Windows 98se with a Duron Motherboard & 192MB of RAM. |

I'm using WDM. By glitchy i mean i'm getting a lot of pops, crackles & pauses. My CPU is only 600Mhz... do you think this could be a factor?

try using ASIO drivers, and a latency of about 10 or 20ms
this may reduce the amount of pops and clicks experienced also search the internet for various guides on optimising your computer for audio, aswell as closing all unnecessary programs before using ACID. EDIT: if the main use for the computer is audio.music stuff, try the kX drivers. There is a support forum here on DH about it and the URL is http://www.kxproject.com
