MPEG2 Support for TMPG?

Recently CA had another blackout in some of it's places and I lost a lot of software.
Now, I've spent a long time trying to find something that allows me to encode Mpg2 files into mpg1 with TMPG. I capture a lot of MPG2 files and TMPG is like my best friend for compressing them outiside of Prmiere. If anyone can tell me how to import M2v files I'd appreciate it very much.

I had a similar need a while ago and found an excellent little plug in for TMPG written by a very helpful Japanese gentleman. I had a look around and I think you can get the latest version here:
