remove dubbing off AVI

I just downloaded a movie but it's in AVI format and dubbed in another language

Is there any way to remove the dubbing?

the only wy to remove audio from a file, is to open it in a video editor and remove the audio track completely

afaik AVI only has two audio tracks (left and right) so the dubbing track has been mixed in. If you still want the sound effects, then there's not much you can do, apart from find a non-dubbed version

when u convert the file it will take the audio track from the avi. if u want the dubbed out u will have to find the audio track with the correct audio and convert it and sync it to be the match for ur movie, is just easier to download another movie with the correct sound, not only cause would be less pain to make it correctly but also cause is more difficult to find the audio only

Re: remove dubbing off AVI

To remove an audio stream from an AVI containing two audio tracks you can use VirtualDubMod. The procedure is the following.

Go to menu "Stream" and select "Stream list"

In the window then select the audio stream you want remove, and press the "disable" button.

Then Right click on the audio stream you want retain and select "Direct stream copy".

Press OK to close the window, and go to the menu Video. Select "Direct stream copy".

Finally, go to menu File --> "Save as..." or press the "F7" button, and save the new file with a single audio stream in any folder
