help wth mainconcept 1.4.2

Ok i got this program and i know hot work with the regular sb live 5.1 , i know how to use the mixer in mainconcetp setting and i can capture audio and video just fine. the problem is when i try to use the kx driver wich is the 35.37 i just got in the audio mixer input the only option of recording level.
i could heard the audio from the preview display but the resulting mpeg does`nt have sound at all.
can anybody tell me how to make work the kx with any capture program? cuz even the dvd workshop 2 won`t work with it , i have no sound from the captured video but actually can heard what i am capturing.
