This is not good

I"ve got some good news and some bad news.Let’s start with the good.... (tumble weed passes by)Ok, and now onto the bad: DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 is the last version you"ll ever see.We hoped this day would never come, but it has, and I can promise you, nobody is more gutted about it than I am.

How come the big companies put copy protection on there cd/dvd's so you cant make your legal personal backup?

It's all okay for the big ones the break the law but god forbid the enduser doing anything. Pathetic!

Getting annoyed by this corporate crap that get stuffed up in the endusers a$$

there will be more versions but with a different name, say dvd uncrypter

Yeah it may be stopped but another version under a different moniker will be released im sure. the demand is too high.

so sad as this was the best for the dam new encryption where they add blank data on the start of the video..... dvd shrink and xcopy choke on those!

Sucks since i back up all my daughters Disnyey movies so she trashes the copy not the Fing hard to get originals

There are other rippers, I suppose the next most well known is Smartripper, but not as up to date (probably not able to handle newer protections).

Of course, Slysoft are sitting pretty in Antigua, which is why imposing national legislation is such a stupid idea - now everone that wants to do this is going to have to buy or otherwise acquire, a copy of AnyDVD, CloneDVD etc.

Makes you wonder what's next for the attack on freedom.
