Nero Vision Express 3 - no burning

I am new to this software (latest) so be patient with me. I created a slideshown (video cd) and once the slideshow compilation has completed and wants to write to CD an error "please tell Microsoft.." pops up. I got a CD-R in my Liteon1653S burner and all should be well?! I even tried it with my second burner Cyberdrive CW58D but same error. what the heck is going on?

ideas anyone?

edit: I found that it's a project size problem - a slideshow is supposed to support 100 pictures but my 94 pictures (107MB project size) already cause the pgm to spit the error. When I create a smaller object with maybe 20 pictures all is fine.
