Nero vision express 3 will not open

Can anyone help me? I just got Nero 6 ultra edition and when I ty to open vision express 3 from the start smart it doesn't do anything apart from drop the start smart for a while then it reopens it. All the other programes work just fine apart from vision express. Pleas can anyone help me I have installed the updates and the XP service pack 2 patch. This is the only copy of Nero I have.

that would have to do with SP2 stopping the program from opening, I dont run SP2 for this reason. Your going to have to try to disable the data execution for that program, and pray that it allows it to open.other then that I would suggest not using SP2 AS LONG AS YOU HAVE A GOOD FIREWALL AN A/V and update it with all the patches available for SP1.

Thanks for that. But still no luck. I even uninstalled the SP2 and it still wouldn't open. Any other ideas?
