how to get the pcm data when the pc is playing music

I am busing to program a virtual audio driver,but i don't know how to get the pcm data or recordering the audio when playing sound.
I want to know whether i can get the stream data in user mode and how to implement.

You can make PCM based DVD-AUDIO with "Minnetonka DiscWELDER Bronze", get them from http://www.discwelder.com/.
Why don't you record them to wave files? that's easy to do.

well this thread belongs in audio editing, so i'll move it there after this post

but if you can - set your soundcard control panel to record "what you hear" "wave" or something similiar if possible

then record that in any recording program as you playback any audio

First thanks everybody.I know that many software can complete it ,but my meaning is that whether i can complete it by windows API,for example using Direct sound or using DDK or other kit/way.it is difficult for me that i programe a vitural audio driver using WDM DDK
