Audigy 2 to Audigy 2 ZS
This is my first post on this forum... I found this by searching for a copy of the original installation CD as i too have lost it. I was reading the youP PAX driver installer page on this forum and noticed it mentioned a "hardmod a2->zs"... what is this exactly? Does this mean you can turn the Audigy 2 into an Audigy 2 ZS? If that's what its saying, how do you go about doing it? Sorry if this is a dumb *** question... just been getting a little frustrated on getting my card back to normal with the creative control panel and all that. I'm not really wanting to put the youP PAX drivers or any of that... was really just wanting the original drivers from the CD. But that's besides the point and tangent to my questions above.
Hopefully someone can answer them for me... and like i said, if they are idiot questions... be gentle on the flaming.... |

You get better help here. http://www.hardwareheaven.com/audio-general-technical-discussion/
There is no such thing as a "hard mod" to turn your A2 into an A2ZS. However, you can do it with software. If you're trying to get remove all the extra creative crap, and everything try "Driver Cleaner" available via the front page. I would recommend doing a format though since these modded Creative drivers can really mess up your system. Which is why I don't touch them. |
