Recording with ACID

I was wondering if there was a way to record with ACID? I oculn't find a way to do it and ended up thinking it was just a loop based program, any of you guys know how?

ACID allows you to record (1) single or stereo track at a time. So, if you record alone it will suit your needs just fine.

I've completed tunes with over 50 recorded tracks in them - works great.
