Total recorder help needed

I am trying to record serius radio shows so I can listen to them on my mp3 player. Here is the problem I can record and do everything right with this program. I play back the show i'm trying to hear and every 60 seconds or so I get a large scratchy sound that lasts about 2 sec then seems to happen ever 60 sec there after.

that sounds like it's an issue with the way the program records. It sounds like it records 60sec into the memory, writes it to the hdd and then records to the ram again… maybe that's what's causing the issue

Check to see if you can adjust the cache or if your setup can handle it turn it off and write it direct.
