Well i get 11000 in 3dmark 2001 and i just ran 2003 and omfg i got like 1504
lol 5 fps for most of it ... can this be right ? all running at stocks and 3dmark defaults :X

well one site shows a 2600+ with radeon 9700 pro getting about 4500

downloaded it.. then tried to install it.. nothing happened .. not even installation started ?! what am i doing wrong ?! dx9 is installed ! grrrr

ATI has like did in their previous drivers, optimized them for 3dmark and to recognize and run differently when it is running in order to get their cards higher scores. Not to mention new Cat 3.1 hit the day before 3dmark2003 coincidence I think not…

I'm hoping for a good score for my card. I'm trying to post a score now for 13708 (2dmarks2001se)........ now that's damn high for a Ti4200 64mb.... Hopefully my Ti4200 will be high in 3DMARK03.... but eh. I'm depressed now.

I rather liked the graphics, but I thought the collisions looks pretty phony - planes are made of metal, and metal bends... though in that slide show I may have just missed it

Catalyst 3.1 Release Notes
3Dmark2003 GT4 runs a little slower than expected on certain chipsets where AGP writes are disabled. A future CATALYST™ will resolve this and provide a higher benchmark score 3DMark2003 has some minor corruption on the RADEON™ 9500 and RADEON™ 9700 series cards when running in Anti-Aliasing modes. This however does not impact scores http://pdownload.mii.instacontent.ne...ase_Notes.html Nice ati says don't worry if the video is corrupted as long as is dosent affect you score! Not to mention 3dmark uses ati's pixel shader version 1.4 for all the pixel shaders in the scenes. Current DirectX games, such as Tiger Woods and Unreal Tournament 2003, all use ps1.1 and ps1.3 pixel shaders. Few, if any, are using ps1.4." 3dmark2003 needs a built for ATI logo! |

Why is everyone crying about their scores in comparison to the 9700. I am a Nvidia user but our GeForce 4 based cards can't touch the ATi 9700 line. One of my best friends has the Sapphire AIW 9700 and he scored 4433 on his first run through and 4420 with Cat 3.1 drivers. My Ti4200 scored 1796 but I know his card blows mine away
