No offense, but a 3.06 isn't the greatest thing for benchmarking... your scores seem to be off slightly compared to Canterwood and AMD results. Just a thought.

There is no "standard". There's a lot of things that can influence your score. Be a bit more specific and let us know your setup and we can possibly give you a range of scores to expect.

I was just wondering based on the scores you gave there...what would be standard?

as for my system...its a bit weird. But basically heres the rig.

Asus A7N8X
Athlon XP 2800+ @ 2.45ghz
2x256mb PC3200
Powercolor Radeon 9800SE @ PRO (can OC to 470\340...stupid ram...but anyway ignore the OCing for the estimate)

uhhh...and I cant think of anything else thats important.

Don't waste your time on 3DMark03...your card is a DX9 chipset. Try 3DMark05 instead.

I've only run 3DMark2K3v350 one time so far. My score: 3724 on the system in my sig.

EDIT: 1-6-05: New High Score for me: 3876. With video card clocked 481/317 using Omega's 4.12 final.

I'm at a cool 6000 with

AMD 64 3500 Newcastle @ 2.5ghz
1 gig of pc3200 OCZ Platinum Rev 2 (2,2,2,5) but the ratio isnt perfected yet
ATi Radeon 9800 pro (stock speeds) with Omega 4.12s

My Xp120 and Panflow arrives tomorrow, see if I can get it stable at 2.7ghz or higher.

Thanks! This score put me on the first page of comparison scores when the parameters are set to: Intel Pentium 4 CPU Speed = 3000 - 3400 MHz and Video Card is 9600 Series on an XP OS computer.

There's one score that I find to be totally unbelievable and can't figure out just how s/he scored this high: 10,000 PLUS on a like system! Isn't that really impossible?

I could likely push my overclocking a bit and get an even higher score if I had a little better cooling.

Hmm indeed, I just did a quick search and compare against the 9600 series.
Much to my suprize 2 people stood out Ultimate Rage 128 Overclocked weighing in at 14,630

and Pavlakis at 10,237

Very interesting results I beat UR at every test save Battle of Proxycon where I scored 75.2 he/she scored 311.9

Same with Pavlakis Where I bested him/her in all but Mother Nature where I scored 70.8 he/she scores 186.0 Neither of those scores are remotely in line with the rest of their results

No way those are legit scores they both must have found some cheat

When you take into consideration that the parameters I entered show the 2nd highest score as being in the 5000 range, that's a HUGE chasm between it and the 10,237 that's first.

I'm sure I could easily get somewhere in the mid-4000 range with just some more overclocking. I haven't even touched my CPU's default setting yet.

I wonder if Futuremark would want to check into those scores that are so out of kilter with the rest?

Well, with the CAT 5.1s, I just bested my best score again.

The new score is now: 3968

I'm almost positive I can get over 4000 with just the right tweaking.

How's this?? I score around 450 !! with my laptop on 3D 03 but I can still play FarCry on it with decent results (single player) desktop score around 12,500 on 3d 03.

you probably don't have your chipset or video drivers installed. That, or you have something running in the background that is taking up a lot of resources.
