3DMark03 3.3.0

After updating to the newer version I lost like almost 900 3DMark points. When I installed the 44.03 Dets I only gained 200 points. A 200pt gain to a 900pt loss is a huge margin. Are anyone else using an FX series card seeing the same thing?

A whole bunch of folks, it's what the whole "nVidia is cheating at 3dm2k3!" scandal is all about and the whole reason 3dm2k3 put out the updated patch.

Unless the OTHER "cheating" drivers were in use before (skimp on sky texturing), you would only expect to lose the cheating gain though.

If they are actually WORSE when cheat-blocked than a previous non-cheating driver, then that is seriously bad - suggesting that they put MORE effort into the cheat than in real performance.

Nvidia is getting worse everyday, time to change the chip for the nvfans...
