exclamation DH 3Dmark Results

Welcome in the Driverheaven 3Dmark Results topic. You can post your 3Dmark results in this topic. You can also discuss about your score or the one from someone else.

What is 3Dmark?
Well, Futuremark is the company behind this specific benchmark software. They released different versions over the years (you can recognize them by the given date in the name). A lot of people use the software to compare their PC’s performance with each other.

What do you need to do?
The goal is to get the highest possible score with your system. You can use the different 3Dmarks (3Dmark 2003/2005/2006/Vantage). You can get more performance by overclocking certain parts or by tweaking your windows for example.

Rules
There are some rules about posting a result.
We use the standard settings of the given benchmarks. This is because you then can compare your results better with other members.
The following programs need to be visible:
3Dmark score
3Dmark settings
GPU-z
CPU-z Processor tab + Memory tab

Optional
You can show other programs like CPU temperature monitoring software or overclocking tools, but the programs stated above need to be shown clearly.

Tip:
-3Dmark06 and Vantage are the popular 3Dmark benchmarks at the moment.

3Dmark X score:

Re: DH 3Dmark Results

I don't have time to run benchies tonight but a great idea organizing the 3Dmark tests in one thread.

You put a lot of time and thought into this and your post + rep and I will post back with some results this weekend

Thank you

I will make some more new topics for some others subjects.

I hope people will post some results quicker with a topic like this, also results from budget systems are interesting.

Well, that version is used far less than the 3Dmark series.

However, if there is enough animo, maybe it could be added...

Cool tweaking up the AMD system and will post some results tomorrow. Don't expect stellar results its a 5200+ with a 9600gt but does the job

(Vdimm mod on that coming soon my Ungar soldering station at home works great)

That should be ok for at least 8000 - my E2220 scored 8400 at stock with a stock 9600GT, and the 5200+ is a slighly stronger CPU.

P.S. Look at all the four digit numbers in that post! Woah!

Re: DH 3Dmark Results

Cool and at stock I was at 8048 so you are spot on but going into 5 digits here

@Bolletje I think the inclusion of the driver version used might be a good idea especially when checking results against your own so included that in this post.

This is the highest I can achieve before the Vdimm mod on the MSI mobo which I will do soon ...

Well, you can also look at the GPU-z screen where the driver version is stated.

But if you really want I will add it to the TS...

You don't see 03 that often, but hey ok, I will add it.

Hopefully this week (weekend?) I will post some results with a 9500GT and E7300. Budget stuff I know, but I like the fun

OK here we go man I had to switch back to my Gigabyte mobo as the ASUS which had originally been damaged in a shipping mishap has been retired.

These are stock settings and the Diamond HD4870 is factory O/Ced. (I just left Overdrive locked for the first tests.)

Re: DH 3Dmark Results

remove or delete any previous 03 submitted, or make then Private again and and then make public your others..

Aside from CPU power... if i start overclocking the HD4870x2 i may start closing the gap..

But i can't... my PSU IS indeed hitting it's peak output as when i cranked up the core speeds...psu's overload protection kicked in after about 60 seconds of running a test lol...

Re: DH 3Dmark Results

Maybe I'll go for 100K in 3D03 this weekend if I get bored. I am sure I could overclock my CPU and GPU higher for a bit. Just increasing my CPU 100MHz and GPU 100MHz I got almost a 10K gain.
