Welcome in the Driverheaven 3Dmark Results topic. You can post your 3Dmark results in this topic. You can also discuss about your score or the one from someone else.
What is 3Dmark? Well, Futuremark is the company behind this specific benchmark software. They released different versions over the years (you can recognize them by the given date in the name). A lot of people use the software to compare their PC’s performance with each other. What do you need to do? The goal is to get the highest possible score with your system. You can use the different 3Dmarks (3Dmark 2003/2005/2006/Vantage). You can get more performance by overclocking certain parts or by tweaking your windows for example. Rules There are some rules about posting a result. We use the standard settings of the given benchmarks. This is because you then can compare your results better with other members. The following programs need to be visible: 3Dmark score 3Dmark settings GPU-z CPU-z Processor tab + Memory tab Optional You can show other programs like CPU temperature monitoring software or overclocking tools, but the programs stated above need to be shown clearly. Tip: -3Dmark06 and Vantage are the popular 3Dmark benchmarks at the moment. 3Dmark X score: Username: CPU: CPU speeds: “original” @ “overclocked” RAM: RAM speeds: "speed" @ “timings” Motherboard: Graphics card: Graphics card speeds: “original core/mem(/shader)” @ “overclocked core/mem(/shader)” Cooling CPU: Cooling GPU: Driver version (optional): ![]() Example: 3Dmark 2006 score: 12212 Username: Bolletje CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 CPU speeds: “3000” @ “3000” RAM: 2 * 2GB OCZ XTC Gold RAM speeds: "400" @ “6-6-6-18” Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P Graphics card: Asus 8800GTS 512 MB Graphics card speeds: “650/1944/1625” @ “650/1944/1625” Cooling CPU: Air (Scythe Mugen) Cooling GPU: Stock Driver version (optional): 182.06 (EIST is enabled) Validation link Tip: When you submit your results and show the validation link, then we are sure it is valid. Download: 3Dmark. Futuremark - Download CPU-z CPUID GPU-z GPU-Z Video card GPU Information Utility There will also be some sort of score list where I (or maybe a moderator) can update the scores. There will also be a separate score list for multi GPU solutions. Score list: 3Dmark Vantage: Code:
1. Kyzler - 17910 2. BETA911 - P14069 3. Chaos - P9845 4. Mac Daddy - P7046 5. 1. Kyzler - 26417 3. Chaos - 16274 4. Mac Daddy - 14024 5. blibbax - 8999 6. 3Dmark 2005: 1. blibbax - 12580 2. 3. 3Dmark 2003: 1. 2. 3. Multi GPU 3Dmark Vantage: 1. Just Learnin' - P25318 2. 3. 3Dmark 2006: 1. Just Learnin' - 28870 2. Keep it fair people, or else it is not fun anymore… I hope you people like this new plan. More topics to come for other benchmarks. ![]() If you have any questions: you can send me a private message or an e-mail. And yes, I have permission to open this topic... Re: DH 3Dmark Results
I don't have time to run benchies tonight but a great idea organizing the 3Dmark tests in one thread.
You put a lot of time and thought into this and your post + rep and I will post back with some results this weekend

Re: DH 3Dmark Results
Well, that version is used far less than the 3Dmark series.
However, if there is enough animo, maybe it could be added... |

Re: DH 3Dmark Results
Ok, for this time I will add these, but in the future: can you make screenshots from your whole screen? As stated in the TS?
Thank you ![]() @ below Added, but still I don't see screenshots with the score visible. I added them because this is the first day so people can get used with it

Cool and at stock I was at 8048 so you are spot on but going into 5 digits here
![]() @Bolletje I think the inclusion of the driver version used might be a good idea especially when checking results against your own so included that in this post. remove or delete any previous 03 submitted, or make then Private again and and then make public your others..
Aside from CPU power... if i start overclocking the HD4870x2 i may start closing the gap.. But i can't... my PSU IS indeed hitting it's peak output as when i cranked up the core speeds...psu's overload protection kicked in after about 60 seconds of running a test lol...

Re: DH 3Dmark Results
Maybe I'll go for 100K in 3D03 this weekend if I get bored. I am sure I could overclock my CPU and GPU higher for a bit. Just increasing my CPU 100MHz and GPU 100MHz I got almost a 10K gain.
