Currently 10654 but on the webpage it says that the graphics card & driver are not known. Application quite happily says that it's running 570s, which is correct.

Re: Futuremark 3DMark 11 Results

aww..... my new 3930K + 6950 2gb overclocked slightly to 825/1300mhz scored worse than the i930 + 2x 5770 1gb overclocked slightly by almost 200 points

bleh

AMD Radeon HD 6950 video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3930K Processor,ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P9X79 PRO score: P5369 3DMarks

Although i roasted my physics score quite a bit lol

The graphics scores were almost 1000 less .. wow....

hows that for mind -_-ing?

Pushed the core to 850 and 1350 memory + turned it into a 6970 2gb by flipping the bios switch and enabling the additional shaders....

only gained 300 points from doing that..

yup... don't realize it until you see a card that is suppose to be equivalent not FASTER then 2x 5770's in crossfire..

but apparently 3dmark11 truely shows an only case where crossfire scales at 100% basically.

Re: Futuremark 3DMark 11 Results

I just ran this again on my HD 6950 after boosting timings a bit. This score appears to be quite low considering what I've got under the hood here.

AMD Radeon HD 6950 video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-950 Processor,MSI X58A-GD45 (MS-7522) score: P5296 3DMarks

P5296

But, checking the Details, it's showing the clocks at IDLE speeds...not 3D speeds.

What's up with that?

Nothing to be concerned about unless you have a very low score. It probably gathers your system info before it starts stressing your system.

The final score factors in very little for overall CPU power and puts most of the weight on the GPU scores..

Since your scoring around the same as i am... i think your right on the nose for the 6950 2gb card.

Are you running yours in 6970 mode (bios switch)?

your within the 100 marks of my marginally overclocked 6950 @ 6950 mode...

spot on like i said..

heres mine at the 6970 mode again if you didn't compare

AMD Radeon HD 6950 video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3930K Processor,ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P9X79 PRO score: P5678 3DMarks

Re: Futuremark 3DMark 11 Results

Since I just recently got the XFX 6950, dated just in Dec. 2011, I'm almost sure there is not BIOS switch to enable the 6970 mode. Although, I haven't even checked to find out if it does. I just kind of assume that this was "fixed" since the earlier versions were found to have it and then read that it was disabled on more recent models.

At any rate, I'm glad to know it's performing well compared to others.

Your clock speeds are showing 3D speeds....whereas mine are showing IDLE speeds. What's up with that?

Re: Futuremark 3DMark 11 Results

actually it's not showing correct 3d speeds... you'll notice the core clock is totally not right

my car i picked up is the newest model sapphire makes.. it's the earlier versions that didn't have the bios switch built in.... this newer one does.

so it's worth looking at ..

even if it's just to shut down the machine... flip the switch and then load back up and see if you run into any stability/graphical issues... if no... WIN.. if not... well didn't gain/lose anything.. so no big deal.

Now I wonder what I could get with a 2600K @5ghz.

AMD Radeon HD 6970 video card benchmark result - Intel Core i5-2500K Processor,Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. P67A-UD7-B3 score: P13194 3DMarks

Hopefully hitting 13k translates into even a tiny BF3 performance boost

Omega - did you reset your BIOS? I found that makes a difference to newly-installed graphics cards but I can never understand why, as there are no changes made.

Not yet, everything seems normal. Really all I'm worried about is cooling, GPU 2 runs at a cool 50C load in BF3 whereas GPU 1 is around 60-65 on a higher fan speed. Far as I know, the gpus will downclock once you hit 70C.

My OC settings right now are
+135 Power limit
+100 core voltage
+70 core (around 1220 in game)
+300 memory

That was stable in BF3 I found the higher overclocks work in 3Dmark11 but crash in BF3. I have a feeling I could bench at crazy high clocks but that would never work in games.

Are you sure about that? Seems a pretty low temperature to disable or downgrade boost-clock at. Wouldn't want to have the fans running flat out unnecessarily.
