Basic Edition

Got 3 Display "Driver Stopped...Recovered" errors during video playback.

I think i'll try again with Advanced Edition and figure out what is causing those errors.

I'm betting your seeing a CPU overclock failing. In fact, I'm almost positive of it. I failed in the same spot when I first ran it, adjusted my vcore one more tiny bump up, and it ran right through with no problems. Video playback and transcoding is the toughest section on the CPU.

Try setting your CPU to stock if you cannot stabilize your overclock, that might help you determine for sure if it is the CPU overclock or something else not liking an overclock. But there's nothing in your System Specs tab that would be indicative of incompatibility. You have the right OS (this has to be run on Windows 7, not Vista, or you get a horrid low score, but not a crash like you had), but you have Windows 7 Pro, so that's on target as is the rest of your hardware all perfect. Has to be an overclock causing it or a corrupted video driver.

I'm the first to say "one program is not enough" when people say "my system is prime stable". I understand that just because you pass prime95, it doesn't mean your system is stable. I did run a battery of stress tests (here) and benchmarks (here) but like i said above, never rule anything out. So after all that testing, THIS app with bring my system down?

I'll look into the OC, try Catalyst 11.5

Also when you failed, did you also have jerky video playback?

No, it failed on the very first frame of video, visible for a split second before BSOD on the spot. Bumped a hair more vcore and it was perfect.

Keep in mind that my 5Ghz OC was stable through everything before this as well. Prime95, OCCT, and IBT. This test went a hair further in exposing instability. Once that was nailed down, I can run the test over and over now without issue.

I tried stock CPU, same. I installed Catalyst 11.5 + CAP2 and didn't get the driver recover error but the video was still choppy, about 2 fps. Anyways i completed a run with all suites enabled.

Just how long does it take to run this benchmark? I uninstalled the version I had on my system, did a registry clean, rebooted, re-downloaded the latest one I could find, installed it, rebooted, started it up....and....and....and....

After 30 minutes it has barely moved on the progress bar.
