wow 94'000 that comp must of cost a bomb. Im jst waiting for my new ocz vx ram, ddr ocz booster and my new ocz power supply 420w couldnt afford the 500 of 600

and see how mch over clocking i can do then to rase a few more points

i'm knocking 80,000's door, now only if i could figure out how to OC this proc further...it goes to 222fsb, and higher than that and i get windows errors...OC'ing w/ my DFI board is a lot more complicated than w/ my old kt400...

anybody know how to change cpu voltages w/ a lanparty UT board? is it the CPU VID setting? i dunno, i'm lost, everything got it's name changed around...

Yes S_O_T the cpu VID is the Vcore...might go up to 1.55 for instance...if you need more than that...adjust the CPU "special" VID (diff names on diff boards) to +3.3%, +5%, +8.3%, etc etc....just take your base CPU VID and add the percentage to calculate your new Vcore.

yep, i just figured that stuff out the other day. one more question though, how high of voltage is recommended for a winchester core? so far my temp hasn't even broken 40, so i'm not too worried about cooling, i just don't want to blow the thing out w/ over voltage.

Hmmm....on air seems like 1.6 since 1.4 is stock....its really going to depend on cooling, if you have an XP-90 or 120 then you will get away with more, anything under 50C load is good, IMO ....I have a friend who is at like 1.76 but with water, so I don't think you have to worry about blowing it out.

i went up to 1.8 last night. got it to run windows stable at 2.65, but couldn't run all the way through 3dm2k1. at 1.72 i could run at 2.6ghz, but not 3dm03 or 05. at that speed it got 25,150 in 3dm2k1, but had to run HTT at 3x.

today i'm running at 2.45Ghz and 1.56V, and i'm getting much better scores and stability. i'm up to 25,550 now in 2k1se.

at 1.8v my proc was 51 degrees under load. 47 idle.

i don't think my proc is as good as an overclocker as most winchesters
