Any APP that shows VPU Memory Use?

I was just wondering if there's any bench program that can detect and show how well the video card's memory is being use? With the latest cards boasting 256 MB of DDR3 RAM, it'd be interesting to see just how well these cards are making use of that amount of memory.

Anyone?

I'm not sure if this is what your looking for?

Here's a nice site that offers many different tests,

Thanks!

I'm not sure how I missed this for so long. I'll check these out.

What I'm looking for is an app that will show just how much of our onboard VRAM is being used to render textures during certain types of processes. Most of us now have either 128 or 256 MB video cards. Just how much of this memory is actually getting used is what I'm wondering.

Neon, that app simply tells how much AGP memory is available on the system.

What I'm wondering is if there's an app that can run ..... something like a benchmark program ...... that shows how much of the VRAM is being used.

My point (or question) is: Just how much of our total VRAM are we actually getting use out of during out games and such? Is ALL of it being used, 1/2, or what?

Something like this could tell us just how WELL our cards are functioning under heavy loads, too.

I had totally forgotten about Passmark It does report how much vram memory was used during it's 3-D tests. I had a free version that was bundled with my Abit NF7-s boards driver/utility cd.

Hmmm....I wonder if there's anything like that on the CDs I got with my ABIT mobos? I never noticed anything, but I'll look again.

You can log the use of VRAM with the 3DAnalyzer from www.tommti-systems.de or the DX Tweaker.

Greetings from Germany,

Raff
